Review by hotel critic
The spacious apartment, which had been recently revamped, offered a comfortable retreat with its well-equipped kitchen and a pleasant patio to unwind. The added convenience of the location, just a stone's throw away from the pristine 4-mile beach, added to the allure of this property. One standout feature was the exceptional service provided by the hosts, Mick and Sue. Their attentive assistance, exemplified by personally ensuring a fellow guest's airport transfer, truly enhanced the stay. The property's proximity to both the beach and the town's main attractions made it an affordable choice for those looking to explore Port Douglas without breaking the bank. While Nautilus Holiday may not boast extravagant amenities, its value proposition and considerate hosts make it a sensible choice for budget-conscious travelers seeking a pleasant, convenient stay in this charming coastal town.
